Physical Model/Stipple
Summary:
Frank Lloyd Wright was an American born architect who broke architectural norms throughout his career. The first frame is a depiction of one of Wrights most well-known buildings, Falling Water. The frame in the middle resembles Wrights Tree of Life, stained glass window. Wright appears in front of the window with a bag over his head to resemble the life events that most people don’t know or haven’t paid attention to because his career outshined them. The last frame is a model of Side Chair. A commissioned piece designed for a house in Illinois and represents the becoming’s of Wrights Prairie School style.

Stipple, Hatch, One Line, Scribble
Summary:
The goal of this assignment was to find a photo that was intriguing to the eye and create four individual drawings using micron pens. I chose a black and white photo of a wolf because they embody courage, strength, and loyalty. This stipple, diagonal hatch, continuous line, and scribble were my introduction to this medium.

Summary:
A reimagined hallway design for the Steelcase Studio. Centered around providing spaces for students to relax, or work in an individual setting, as well as open wall space to be utilized as a galley for our work.
Rec Renovation

Summary:
The Rec Center on the Mizzou campus is a hot spot for students and the community. Our task was to take the existing outdoor pool area and turn it into a multi-purpose area for students and the community to utilize. My idea involved an indoor-outdoor structure where students could peacefully work upstairs and the lower level would act as a trade/thrift store for the surrounding community and students living on campus. Students would have better access to used and new/unused item, books, and supplies for dorm living. Opportunities for human connection and exposure to the environment play a key role in this design.
